Greg Black (Founder & CEO)
Greg began his career with Grindrod Intermodal as part of their prestigious graduate program, followed by two years in their operations and marketing departments. He later joined Transnova, where he played a key role in various supply chain consulting projects and transport managed service contracts for high-profile clients such as SBV, Tiger Brands, and Distell. In both commercial and general management roles, Greg honed his expertise in supply chain operations.
At Massmart, Greg led the group’s transport planning division, further developing his leadership in large-scale supply chain management. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Marketing Management and a BCom Honours in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Johannesburg.
In 2021, Greg founded The Transport Consortium, where he currently serves as CEO, driving innovation in logistics optimization and supply chain solutions.
He is happily married, and when not working is most likely swimming, cycling, or running.
